In 1986 I embarked on a career as a hair stylist. I had no idea just what I was really getting myself into, but I have to say it has been amazing! Growing up my mother would trim my bangs and help me maintain my waist length hair. A trip to the beauty salon, once a year, would leave me sleepless with excitement the night before. During one of these magical trips, at the age of 8, I knew that this was my calling. Now, years later, and certainly much wiser, I started to understand that I am much more than an artist, I am a healer. A great hairstyle is so much more than esthetics, it heals a person in so many ways.
